1. Use standard fuel and eliminate inferior fuel
Most EFI diesel engines adopt high-pressure common rail technology, which can provide ultra-high injection pressure and more accurate injection quantity. However, high-precision components have high requirements for diesel oil, especially the fuel injector is very sensitive to impurities and water in diesel oil. In order to achieve better atomization effect, the extremely fine fuel injection hole is easy to be blocked by impurities in inferior diesel oil. Therefore, the brand and quality of regular gas stations should be selected to fully meet the requirements.
2. Replace the filter element regularly
Only the fuel that meets the standard is obviously not enough. In order to further remove impurities and moisture in the fuel, EFI Engines are equipped with filter devices such as fuel primary filter, fine filter and oil-water separator, which are very important to maintain the cleanliness of diesel. Therefore, these filter devices must be replaced regularly according to the regulations to ensure that the diesel maintains a high cleanliness. Otherwise, once the fuel injection system of the engine is damaged, the maintenance and replacement will be a large cost.
3. Waterproof, dustproof and anti-collision
Compared with the traditional direct injection machine, the biggest feature of the EFI machine is to add a complex electronic system to accurately control the fuel supply. However, the precise electronic system puts forward certain requirements for use and maintenance. In normal use, it is necessary to ensure that the electronic system of the engine is far away from the heat source, and pay attention to waterproof, dustproof and anti-collision.
4. Use the correct grade of oil
EFI common rail engine has high requirements for engine oil. It is necessary to add engine oil above the required level in order to ensure good operation of the machine. In addition, the oil filter should also be replaced regularly to ensure the cleanness of the oil.
5. Use antifreeze correctly
Because the common rail in the EFI engine produces relatively high heat load, the water temperature of the EFI engine is easier to rise than that of the direct injection engine. Therefore, the coolant cannot be replaced by water. Be sure to add antifreeze according to the label on the vehicle manual all year round, so as to ensure good heat dissipation effect and avoid damage caused by excessive engine temperature.
