Assembly steps after disassembly of excavator swing motor

The slewing motor is the key component of the slewing mechanism of the excavator. It converts the oil pressure provided by the main pump into mechanical energy and inputs it to the reducer. Its working performance will directly affect the rotation speed of the whole machine. Driving torque, rotation parking and parking braking are the key to determine the productivity of the whole machine.

After working for a long time, the rotary motor of excavator often has the phenomena of weak rotation and unstable rotation. At this time, it is necessary to replace the internal parts according to the test results, repair or replace the internal parts according to the test results, and then assemble them. Many people forget how to assemble after disassembly and don't know the assembly process. This article will explain the assembly process and precautions for reference only.

1. Precautions during assembly

1) If it is found that there are obvious scars on the appearance, this part must be replaced.

2) All parts shall be fully cleaned with cleaning oil, and the oil stain shall be removed with compressed gas.

3) The sliding parts must be coated with clean hydraulic oil before assembly.

4) O-ring, oil seal and other sealing parts shall be replaced in principle.

5) Please use a torque wrench to tighten the bolts and plugs at all parts according to the specified torque.

2. Place the motor housing horizontally on the worktable and level the housing with sleepers.

3. Install the transmission shaft into the housing and install the circlip on the transmission shaft with circlip pliers.

4. Install the swashplate, piston and cylinder block in turn. However, it should be noted that when installing the cylinder block, applying grease on the joint surface can prevent it from falling off. When installing the piston assembly, be sure to pay attention to the fit with the spline of the transmission shaft.

5. Place the shell vertically on the worktable and level it with sleepers so that one side of the oil seal is placed downward. Install the friction plate and spacer into the shell. The installation sequence is to install the spacer first and then the friction plate. After installation, please pay attention to confirm whether it is installed in place.

6. Install the O-ring into the housing. After confirming that it is installed in place, install the brake piston, and gently tap the brake piston with a shock absorber to install it in place. At this time, it should also be noted that grease should be applied when installing the O-ring to prevent it from being scratched when installing the brake piston.

7. Install the brake spring on the brake piston. At this time, pay attention to apply grease on the end of the spring to prevent the spring from toppling when installing the valve body.

8. Install the O-ring and port plate on the valve body. Pay attention to apply grease on the O-ring to prevent it from being scratched when installing the valve body. When installing the valve plate, grease the contact surface with the valve body to prevent it from falling and improve the installation efficiency.

9. Align the marks made during disassembly, install the valve body on the shell, and then fasten it with 14mm hexagon socket bolts.

10. Install the check valve and spring into the valve body, and fasten the plug installed with O-ring to the valve body with 17mm hex wrench.

11. Use a 34mm hex wrench to install the overflow valve on the valve body.

12. Use a 6mm hex wrench to install the reversing valve body onto the valve body.

13. Use a 24mm ring wrench to install the anti rotation valve on the anti rotation valve body.
