This page briefly introduces the correct steps of engine startup, and describes the corresponding steps from the aspects of pre startup, startup, post startup inspection and shutdown. For reference only. I hope it can help.
1. Before startup
1) Check the oil level of the oil pan to ensure that the oil is sufficient.
2) Check the coolant in the water tank to ensure normal cooling.
3) Check all connecting lines of the electrical system to ensure that the connection is firm and reliable.
4) Check whether the belt tightness is appropriate.
5) Check the fuel tank and hydraulic tank to ensure the oil quantity.
6) Carefully walk around the excavator for patrol inspection.
7) Lift the safety lever to the locked position.
2. Start
1) Pull the throttle lever to the medium and low speed position and insert the key into the start switch.
2) Rotate the open switch to the "on" position, all warning lights will be on and the gauge needle will move, and the warning buzzer will sound for 2 seconds. If any lights do not light up, replace or repair them.
3) Check all indicator lights and dial gauges. After 2 seconds, all lights will go out except engine coolant thermometer, fuel gauge, engine oil pressure warning light and charging warning light.
4) Turn the start switch to the start position, and the engine will start. Release the key immediately after the engine starts, and the key will automatically return to the "on" position.
5) When starting the engine, the continuous starting time shall not exceed 10 seconds, and the time interval between two starts shall not be less than 1 minute. If it fails to start for three consecutive times, check the cause, eliminate the fault, and then start.
3. Post startup inspection
1) Whether the engine sound is normal and whether the exhaust color is normal. Colorless or light blue is the normal color.
2) Oil pressure: it shall not be lower than 0.1MPa at idle speed.
3) The water pump works well and confirm that the cooling system is normal.
4) No oil leakage, water leakage and air leakage.
5) All instruments work normally.
After the engine is cold started, run the hot engine at no-load for 5 minutes from idle speed to medium speed. During operation, pay attention to the working conditions of each instrument at any time.
4. Parking
1) Before stopping, stop the excavator on a flat and solid ground without danger, put down the working device to the standard position of stopping, and idle the engine for 3 ~ 5 minutes to make the engine cool gradually and evenly before stopping. Before stopping, it is forbidden to increase the accelerator to "blow up".
2) Turn the key to the "0" position, turn off the engine and remove the key.
3) Lift the safety lever to the locked position.
