The wear degree of bucket teeth is different under different working conditions and environments, and the damage caused by different degrees of impact is also different. The bucket teeth can only be used for three days under normal working conditions, which does not meet the requirements from both economic and use perspectives. 1. Analysis from stress
The stress area of bucket teeth is in contact with the excavated object. In a complete excavation process, the stress situation is different in different working stages. When the bucket tooth tip first contacts the material surface, the bucket tooth tip is strongly impacted due to its fast speed. If the strength of bucket teeth is low, plastic deformation will occur at the tip. With the increase of excavation depth, the stress condition of bucket teeth will change.
2. Analysis from working conditions
When the bucket teeth cut the material, the bucket teeth move relative to the material, resulting in a large forward extrusion force on the surface, resulting in a large friction between the force area of the bucket teeth and the material. If the material is hard rock block, concrete, etc., the friction is greater. Under the action of repeated process, different degrees of surface wear are produced on the bucket tooth working surface, resulting in deep furrows.
From the analysis, it can be judged that the positive pressure and friction are the main external mechanical factors of bucket tooth failure, which play a major role in the process of failure.
