There are many kinds of excavator engine failures. Engine speed drop is the failure of engine speed drop during excavator operation. There are two kinds of speed drop, one is a slight speed drop within 200 revolutions, and the other is a serious speed drop above 300 revolutions. At this time, it is likely to cause the excavator to suddenly shut down. There are 8 main reasons for engine speed drop of excavator.
1. It is caused by diesel oil circuit failure of excavator. Generally, when the diesel oil circuit is blocked, it may cause speed drop.
2. The hydraulic system of the excavator has a fault, which makes the hydraulic pump unable to change the displacement normally, resulting in too high system pressure, speed drop and possible choke failure.
3. The output power of the excavator engine itself is insufficient, the output power is lower than the rated power, and the speed is too low. There is also a problem with the main pump.
4. Poor fuel quality or high fuel water content of the engine will lead to insufficient power of the engine and speed loss.
5. When the air intake system leaks or is blocked, it will cause insufficient air supply to the engine, insufficient fuel combustion, speed loss and black smoke.
6. Due to the large clearance of the solenoid valve, the oil supply is insufficient, resulting in engine stall.
7. The fuel supply circuit pipe joint of the fuel system is loose or the pipeline is broken, resulting in fuel leakage or foreign matter blockage, resulting in insufficient fuel supply. In addition to speed loss, it may also cause flameout.
8. There are many reasons for speed failure, such as wrong valve clearance, wrong fuel injection timing, damaged turbocharger, defective brake and so on.
