In the construction of construction machinery, high oil temperature or high water temperature of engine is a common phenomenon. Then, when the engine oil temperature and water temperature are too high at the same time, what should be done?
1. High water temperature
The water tank is used for heat dissipation, and this heat dissipation method is air cooling, that is, the fan driven by the engine. The causes of high water temperature are:
1) The thermostat is stuck and cannot be opened. At this time, the water can only go through a small cycle without passing through the radiator.
2) The water tank is dirty and the water is not smooth. You can use a temperature measuring gun to detect the temperature up and down the water tank. If it is blocked, the temperature below will be very low.
3) Insufficient fan speed, clutch failure.
4) If the rubber strip around the radiator is damaged or not, eddy current will be generated, and the hot air will be circulated, which can not achieve the cooling effect.
5) False alarm occurs when the sensor is broken.
2. High oil temperature
High oil temperature is similar to high water temperature. It also has large and small cycles, but it does not pass through the thermostat. It has an oil return check valve. If this valve is stuck, the oil temperature will be high, and others are the same as the water temperature. The large excavator is driven by the fan pump, the fan motor adjusts the speed, and there is an overflow device. Generally, the oil temperature is high, which can be solved by checking these places.
Therefore, when the oil temperature and water temperature of the engine are too high at the same time, if the amount of oil and water is sufficient or insufficient, the oil temperature should be reduced first and then the water temperature, for the following reasons:
1) Too high oil temperature will do great harm to the engine.
2) Lowering the oil temperature can slow down the rise of water temperature.
3) Oil temperature is one of the main factors affecting oil pressure.
4) Lowering the water temperature first has a great influence on the establishment of engine main shaft oil passage oil pressure.
