The radiator is to dissipate the excess heat in the excavator engine. It enables the engine to operate at normal temperature at various speeds or driving conditions. Contact with dust and sand during excavator operation may cause radiator blockage. If it is not cleaned in time, it is easy to cause high temperature and even damage to the equipment. If the radiator is blocked, it can be removed and cleaned by the following steps.
First, observe the blockage of the radiator. Prepare corresponding tools according to the blocking situation. Then remove the base plate of the engine first. It is convenient to remove the screws under the water tank later. Secondly, drain all the coolant in the water tank and disconnect the hose connection between the engine and the water tank. Remove the screws fixing the air collector and the radiator of the water tank one by one. Please keep it in order. Carefully flush the radiator with a water gun. In this process, we must pay attention to two points. First, wash from inside to outside. It needs to follow the wind direction of the engine. Then rinse from the outside to the inside. Second, remember that the water gun must be perpendicular to the water tank. Inclination will damage the heat sink. Next, flush the hydraulic oil radiator with the same method. Be careful when washing. Until the water comes out from the other side without impurities and the water quality is clear. Then assemble the parts in order. After assembly, carefully check whether screws are missing. Finally, connect the pipeline and add the original antifreeze.
