The track roller carries the whole weight of the excavator and bears the driving function of the excavator. Track rollers have two main failure forms: oil leakage and wear.
If there is obvious wear in the early stage, the operation should be stopped immediately to check the coincidence degree of idler, upper rollers, track rollers, the center of sprocket and the longitudinal center line of the walking frame and whether there is bias wear phenomenon.
In order to prolong the service life, the front and rear track roller can be used for a period of time and exchanged with other position track roller. The excavator's can be exchanged directly, but the bulldozer's must keep the original position of the single and double flange track roller on the walking frame unchanged. The front and rear two track roller are most easily damaged.
Track roller oil leakage is almost all excavator users have encountered problems, many people are ignored, such as polishing on the new, after the oil leakage maintenance is basically new.
The following methods are based on emergency measures without spare track roller, and the service life can not be guaranteed. For reference only.
All track rollers have an inner hexagonal screw which like picture on left, some on the roller surface and some on the axle which show in photo on right.
We only need to twist off the inner hexagonal, some owners can not remove the screw plug, be heated and replace an oil nozzle, and then into the lubricating oil.
The first time need to fill the entire cavity, need more grease. After adding lubricating oil every day, by the way to add him three or four times.
