The main function of accumulator in secondary regulation system is to provide instantaneous supplementary flow when energy is insufficient. Because the accumulator can absorb energy when the power of the oil source is redundant, and replenish the stored hydraulic energy when the power is insufficient, the constant pressure variable displacement pump in the oil source of the secondary regulation system is generally selected according to the average power, which can reduce the cost and improve the efficiency. Therefore, when the load exceeds the rated power of the constant pressure variable displacement pump, the additional energy is provided by the accumulator.
According to the way of energy storage, the accumulator can be divided into gravity type, spring type and inflatable type. At present, the most widely used is inflatable accumulator. The air bag accumulator has the advantages of reliable sealing between the air chamber and the oil chamber, no leakage between them, small inertia of the capsule, fast response, compact structure and easy maintenance. It is widely used in the secondary regulation system.
