This article summarizes some maintenance knowledge of traveling motor for reference only.
1. Whether it is a large excavator or a small excavator, walk as short as possible. The long-term traveling distance will damage the traveling wheel of the excavator. When walking, try to choose a flat road, especially when walking uphill for a long time. The excavator model with slow gear must use slow gear. If necessary, use the bucket to cooperate. Do not let the traveling motor have too much load.
2. Planetary gearbox must be filled with gear oil. Replace the gear oil three months after the initial use, and then replace the gear oil every 1 year according to different working conditions. After the traveling motor operates for a period of time, remove the rear cover of the gearbox, regularly check the wear of the gearbox and maintain it in time.
3. During the operation of the traveling motor, the working conditions of the system oil circuit and motor gear oil shall be checked frequently. In case of abnormal increase of system pressure, leakage of the traveling motor, abnormal temperature rise, vibration noise or abnormal pressure pulsation, the machine shall be shut down immediately, the cause shall be found out and repaired in time.
4. When the traveling motor of the excavator is weak or the system is abnormal, stop the excavator immediately and check whether the leakage of the hydraulic motor is normal. If there is a large amount of leakage, the hydraulic motor is damaged and needs to be repaired or replaced.
5. It is recommended to stop the excavator for about 15 minutes after the excavator traveling motor works continuously for 1-2 hours.
6. The circuit driving the traveling motor is equipped with a safety valve. For example, the hydraulic motor is a radial plunger motor, and its set overflow pressure does not exceed 22Mpa. The hydraulic motor is a cycloidal hydraulic motor, and its overflow pressure does not exceed 17Mpa. The set pressure of the plunger motor overflow valve can reach about 35MPa according to the use requirements of the host equipment.
7. The median function of the steering control directional valve of the control travel hydraulic circuit must be "Y" or "H".
8. If the hydraulic oil is too dirty, it will affect the service life of the excavator traveling motor.
