Most excavators are equipped with earth buckets, but if the working environment requires crushing, the excavator needs to be equipped with a breaker. Before installing the breaker, you should have a certain understanding of the breaker. The installation of breaker will cause great damage to the hydraulic system, the hydraulic pump is easier to wear, and there will be abnormal sound during rotation. 1. How to maintain the excavator
1) After installing the breaker, the hydraulic oil needs to be replaced once every 1000 hours. Ordinary hydraulic oil can be used.
2) It is suggested to add an oil return filter element to prevent impurities not filtered from entering the hydraulic system and damaging the hydraulic pump when using the breaker.
2. Precautions for installation of breaker
1) To install the breaker, it is necessary to install oil pipe, crushing low-pressure sensor and crushing mode switching switch at the reserved valve core. This switch is generally installed under the key switch. The function of adding this switch is to make the hydraulic flow more match with the crushing mode.
2) How to adjust the breaker mode
Some excavators only have h and s modes. After installing the breaker, they work in S mode. When the breaker works, the S mode on the display screen will always flash, which is a normal phenomenon. Some excavators have modes a, B, h and S. if a breaker is installed, directly press the mode switch to adjust mode B.
3. Common faults of breaker
1) Breaker speed is too slow
Check whether the overflow valve of breaker works normally. Check whether the pressure of the main overflow valve is normal. There is a frequency modulation valve on the breaker, which can adjust the frequency. Too fast frequency will affect the piston oil seal in the breaker.
2) Weak breaker
Check whether the nitrogen of the breaker is sufficient. Check whether the pressure of the optional low pressure sensor is about 3.5 MPa and 4.5V. Confirm whether the hydraulic oil is sufficient.
3) High hydraulic oil temperature during use
Large throttle operation will not improve the strike force, but also cause abnormal temperature rise of hydraulic oil and great damage to the hydraulic system. The oil seal of the breaker is damaged and not replaced for a long time, resulting in the blockage of the one-way valve of the hydraulic system.
