Track Roller Wheels Information
The track roller assy is used to support the weight of the tractor and roll on the track guide rail (track link) or track board surface. It is also used to limit the track and prevent lateral slippage. When the tractor turns, the roller forces the track to slip on the ground.
The supporting wheel is often in mud and dust and bears strong impact, so it is required to be sealed reliably and the wheel rim is wear-resistant.
Actually, track roller friction is seen as a better type than the normal one, because it owns higher quality.
The track roller bearing is an important factor to judge a good track roller. Friction improves the wear resistance. That is why they are at a higher price. Some people prefer track roller with friction because they don't need to change a new one from time to time.
