Excavator History
In the year 1910, there existed the first motor driving single bucket excavator. In the same year, crawlers began to be adopted in excavators. And wheels were developed with the automotive industry, which made wheel excavators show up as well, but they were just some small wheel excavators.
Then, full rotated single bucket excavators driven by gasoline and kerosene showed up in 1912. And diesel generator-driven excavators were invented in 1916. However, diesel direct driven was used in excavation machines.
In the 1940s, the excavation industry went into a time when the motor and walking systems were diversifying.
When time went into the mid-1950s, full rotated hydraulic excavators were designed and produced by German and French, which indicated that the excavator industry went into a totally new era.
