Excavator battery is a device for storing electric energy. Once the external load is connected or the charging circuit is connected, it starts the energy conversion process. During the discharge process, the chemical energy in the battery is converted into electrical energy. During charging, electrical energy is converted into chemical energy. According to the function of the diesel engine starting control system and the basic working principle of the circuit, the reason why the starter cannot start may be caused by battery failure, starter failure and diesel engine electronic control system failure. The power supply system of the excavator uses the battery as the power supply and has a charging system. The alternator is driven by the engine to generate power. The charging system supplies power to all electrical equipment and charges the battery.

The battery itself is a large-scale component that is easy to wear. According to the differences of different types and materials, the service life can be as long as 3-4 years and as short as 1-2 years. The self discharge of the battery and the gradual vulcanization of the electrode plate are inevitable "gradual failures" of the lead-acid battery. Especially for construction machinery products such as excavators and loaders that are often used, they are often discharged for a long time but are not fully charged, so the service life of the battery will be shorter. Of course, the complete loss of the battery is not only caused by normal loss, but also related to some daily usage habits. Excessive discharge and not timely charging during use, and electrolyte is not added and adjusted in time. It is polluted by hydrochloric acid, seawater, organic acid and other dirt, and dirt is deposited on the upper and lower parts of the electrode plate to cause short circuit. Irregular charging makes the plate vulcanization unable to recover, and in serious cases, it may cause icing due to low electrolyte density.
