Many people don't know what items the excavator should be maintained on a regular basis. This article will summarize the daily maintenance of the excavator and the items that should be maintained every 100 hours for reference only.
1) The fuel filter element and additional fuel filter element should be replaced after the new excavator works for 250 hours. Check the clearance of engine valves.
2) Routine maintenance includes checking, cleaning or replacing the air filter element. Clean the inside of the cooling system. Check and tighten the track shoe bolts. Check and adjust the reverse tension of the track. Check the air inlet heater. Replace the bucket teeth. Adjust the bucket clearance. Check the front window washer fluid level. Check and adjust the air conditioner. Clean the floor in the cab. Replace the crusher filter element.
It should be noted that when cleaning the inside of the cooling system, after the engine is fully cooled, slowly loosen the water injection port cover to release the internal pressure of the water tank, and then drain the water. And do not clean the engine when it is working. The fan rotating at high speed will cause danger. And when cleaning or changing the coolant, park the machine on a level ground.
3) Check items before starting the engine.
Check the liquid level of coolant and add water. Check the engine oil level and add oil. Check the fuel level and add fuel. Check the hydraulic oil level and add hydraulic oil. Check whether the air filter element is blocked and check the wires. Check whether the horn is normal. Check the lubrication of the bucket. Check the water and sediment in the oil-water separator.
4) The maintenance parts every 100 hours include boom cylinder head pin shaft, boom foot pin, boom cylinder rod end, stick cylinder head pin shaft, boom and stick connecting pin, stick cylinder rod end, bucket cylinder head pin shaft, half rod connecting pin, stick, bucket cylinder rod end, bucket cylinder head pin shaft, and stick connecting pin. Check the oil level in the rotary mechanism box and add oil. Drain water and sediment from the fuel tank.
