Daily inspection is the basic guarantee for the safe and efficient operation of the hydraulic excavator and prolonging the service life. It can find and repair all kinds of faults and defects in time, so as to avoid further developing into key faults and causing serious damage to the excavator. Regular construction teams basically have their own equipment management methods, and inspect the specified parts of hydraulic excavators according to certain standards and cycles. The excavator operator is required to master basic theoretical knowledge, understand the use performance of the excavator, and be able to diagnose and eliminate simple faults. For ordinary self-employed households, doing a good job of daily inspection is of great significance to improve the production efficiency of excavators and reduce the use and maintenance cost. The objects of daily inspection include the whole machine, engine, main hydraulic parts, walking system, left and right side chambers, working devices, oil surplus, electric lights and wipers, etc. the methods are visual and hand touch.
1. Check the side pump room
Check the oil inlet and outlet of the hydraulic pump to ensure there is no leakage and looseness. The fuel filter element and oil filter element in the pump room shall be replaced at the time specified by the manufacturer. If they work under bad working conditions for a long time, the fuel filter element and oil filter element can be replaced in advance. The hydraulic oil quantity is counted at the lock edge of the door buckle of the pump room, which is relatively hidden. Don't forget to check the hydraulic oil margin when checking the pump room.
2. Engine oil inspection
Ensure that the oil level is between the "L" and "H" marks on the vernier scale. If it is lower than the "L" mark, it shall be added up. If the oil level is abnormal, find out the cause as soon as possible and check again after troubleshooting. Due to the particularity of the excavator working site, the machine should be placed in the horizontal section as far as possible for inspection, so as to obtain a more accurate oil scale. In addition, the normal operation of the engine also requires sufficient fuel and cooling water, and the inspection of fuel tank and water tank is also an important notice.
3. Check the belt tension
Apply proper pressure in the middle of a single belt to check whether the belt subsidence is within the specified range, otherwise adjust the belt tension. When replacing a new belt, replace it in groups.
After the engine is started, mainly check whether the operation of each speed displayed on the instrument is normal, and there shall be no abnormal noise and smoke. Otherwise, stop the machine immediately for inspection.
4. Check the gear oil of rotary reducer
Check the oil quantity of the slewing deceleration mechanism. The oil level should be at the position specified by the oil scale. If the oil is insufficient, add enough oil. At the same time, pay attention to the contact condition of each oil pipe joint, which is required to be free of leakage, looseness and damage. When replenishing or replacing oil, such as fuel, lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, coolant, etc., the oil recommended by the original manufacturer shall be used according to the requirements of the excavator operation manual, and shall be kept clean to prevent dust and foreign matters from mixing into the oil.
To do a good job in the daily spot inspection of the hydraulic excavator, the operator is required to carefully read the operation manual of the excavator and have an in-depth and careful understanding of the specification and performance of the excavator, the principle of the hydraulic system, the structure and characteristics of the hydraulic components, etc. Continuously improve their professional theoretical knowledge and enrich their practical experience in installation, use, maintenance and repair. After the necessary daily inspection, the maintenance per hour shall be carried out in time. The time required by each excavator manufacturer is slightly different. Keep the excavator in good condition and prolong the service time.
