Positive flow control means that the pilot pressure of the control valve is used as the control pressure to control the variable mechanism of the pump. With the increase of the control pressure, the displacement of the variable pump becomes larger. Positive flow control has a great improvement in speed regulation, system efficiency and so on, but positive flow control needs some shuttle valves, the structure is more complex, as far as possible flow depends on demand, but also affected by load pressure.
