The viscosity of hydraulic oil caused by hydraulic system overheating

If the system temperature is too high, the viscosity of hydraulic oil is directly affected. Because the hydraulic oil has the characteristic of viscosity temperature, the viscosity of hydraulic oil will be reduced after the temperature increases, which will easily cause system leakage, and then reduce the working efficiency of excavator and cause pollution to the environment. Because hydraulic oil in hydraulic system also plays the role of lubrication, the protective film formed on the friction surface becomes thinner when the viscosity of oil decreases, which intensifies the wear of the relative moving surface and shortens the service life of the components. When the temperature of hydraulic oil is too high, the oxidation deterioration will occur, the asphaltene will be precipitated, the damping hole and some precision valve bodies will be blocked, which will cause the system components to jam.
