Breaking hammer is one of the most common working devices of excavator, but the failure of breaking hammer often occurs. Therefore, many people believe that the service life and performance of the excavator will be reduced after the excavator uses the breaker. In fact, as long as every detail and maintenance work are done as required, the service life of the breaker can be prolonged. This article will explain the details and maintenance that should be paid attention to in the use of daily breaker for reference only.
1. When using a breaker, pay attention to checking the tightness of the side plate bolts, connecting bolts and nuts of the crusher every day. Because the breaking hammer will produce great vibration in the work, the bolts and nuts are easy to loosen. If it is not fastened in time, it will cause damage to the breaking hammer. Each time the hammer works for 2 to 3 hours, the lubricating grease shall be supplemented in time. The lubricating grease must be filled when the drill rod is compacted. If the lubricating grease is not supplemented when the drill rod is in the compacted state, it will lead to excessive lubricating grease, damage the dust ring and enter the cylinder body, resulting in strain. Check the pressure of the nitrogen chamber of the breaker before the operation of the breaker. Whether the pressure is too low or too high, it will lead to poor operation of the breaker.
2. If the breaker needs to be stored in a short time, it should be placed in a ventilated and non humid indoor environment. If it is stored outdoors, it shall be packed with plastic or treated with rust prevention in advance. When the breaker needs to be stored for a long time, remove the drill rod, release nitrogen, push the piston to the innermost end of the cylinder block, and do anti rust and moisture-proof treatment indoors. Grease can be applied to the surface. If it is stored for a long time without removal, the seal of the breaker will cause oil leakage due to extrusion deformation.
3. The hydraulic oil of the breaking hammer must be changed once after 1000 hours of use. At the same time, all hydraulic oil filter elements need to be replaced, and the seals of the breaking hammer should also be replaced. If it is not replaced in time beyond the maintenance time and continues to be used, the deteriorated hydraulic oil will cause the wear and internal leakage of hydraulic system components, and finally lead to the failure of excavator, slow speed, and even the damage of hydraulic components.
