In case of abnormal oil consumption of the excavator, it will not only increase the use cost, but also need to repair the excavator. Oil consumption is divided into normal consumption and abnormal consumption. This article will briefly introduce the oil consumption of excavator.
1. Normal consumption
In order to prolong the service life of excavator. Reduce the loss of engine components. Reduce mechanical friction resistance. Lubrication of moving parts, parts, etc. Therefore, some engine oil will be consumed during daily use. The oil consumption beyond the normal consumption range is abnormal consumption. There are two methods to judge whether it is abnormal consumption. First of all, the mining opportunities of each brand have the standard of normal oil consumption of the brand, and the consumption of each brand and model is different. If this standard is exceeded, the abnormal consumption of oil should be considered. Secondly, blue smoke is a significant feature of abnormal oil consumption of excavators.
2. Abnormal consumption
First, we should focus on observing whether there is oil leakage in the parts. The parts to be inspected include the semicircular plug of the auxiliary speed sensor on one side of the flywheel housing, the joint of the cylinder head and the cylinder block, the valve cover and the turbocharger. If there is oil leakage in the above parts, replace the accessories in time.
In addition, check whether high-quality diesel oil is used. If the quality of diesel oil is poor, it will cause serious carbon deposition in cylinder combustion. Cause wear of piston ring and cylinder barrel. After the clearance is too large, the oil is burned in the combustion chamber, resulting in oil consumption. Whether the maintenance is carried out on time, whether the genuine diesel filter element is used and whether the engine oil is increased will cause abnormal engine oil consumption.
Secondly, we should consider whether the tightness of the engine itself is not tight, resulting in oil leakage. Due to the long-term use of the engine, the wear of the piston on the cylinder wall gradually increases, and the piston clearance increases, and the oil will enter the cylinder for combustion through these clearances. After long-term use, the valve clearance sealing gasket will also age, resulting in loose sealing, and the oil will enter the cylinder through the valve for combustion. The oil consumption is abnormal and there are drops of oil in the lower exhaust, which may be caused by the wear or cracking of the piston ring. If the oil dripping from the lower exhaust is not serious, it may be that the turbocharger seal is not tight. Remove the pipes at both ends of the turbocharger and check whether there is oil. If there is oil, it indicates that the turbocharger is faulty. Check whether the oil consumption is caused by the damage of valve oil seal.
