In the use of batteries, due to the use of misunderstanding, sometimes different specifications or new and old batteries are used in series. This is not allowed. If the batteries are mixed in any series, the charging voltage at both ends of the old battery will be higher than the charging voltage at both ends of the new battery in the charging state. As a result, the new battery is not fully charged and the old battery is already overcharged. In the discharge state, the charge capacity of the new battery is larger than that of the old battery, resulting in excessive discharge of the old battery and even reverse polarity of the old battery. Therefore, batteries must not be mixed arbitrarily. Similarly, if batteries with different charge capacities are mixed in series, the batteries with small charge capacity will be overcharged or discharged, and their service life will be shortened.
