1. Don't look at the time, look at the car condition
When buying a second-hand excavator, most people think that the excavator with a small reading of the hour meter in the excavator is in good condition. However, the reading of the hour meter on the excavator is not necessarily the actual time. Therefore, you can't just look at the reading when buying a second-hand excavator. Although it is a consideration for buying a second-hand excavator, it is not the most important factor.
2. Pay attention to the actual wear
The track shoe, the track roller and the stiffener near the bucket inside the small arm can accurately tell you the working condition of the excavator. Generally, the wear degree of the three parts of the excavator working in the mine in the same working time is much higher than that of the excavator working in earthwork. The difference is that the track shoe in the mine is not worn evenly, and there will be abrupt scars, and there will be traces of violent collision by rocks on the metal surface during excavation. The marks on the stiffener inside the forearm are more obvious. The wear of the track shoe, track roller and stiffener inside the small arm of the excavator for earthwork construction is more delicate and smooth, and it is difficult to see the trace of large-area collision with the rock. Such excavators often have a longer service life than excavators working in mines. 3. Pay attention to all indicators of the engine
First, check the appearance, whether there is a large area of water leakage and oil leakage, whether the antifreeze is missing, whether the engine oil is missing, and whether the engine oil filter element uses the original filter element. Because during the maintenance period, if the excavator is maintained on time and carefully and the genuine accessories of the manufacturer are used, the wear of the components of the excavator will be greatly reduced, so as to prolong the service life of the excavator. Start the inspection after the inspection of engine oil and antifreeze. After the engine is started, first observe whether the engine idles smoothly and whether the lower exhaust is too large. Finally, look at the smoke color of the engine. If blue smoke is emitted, it indicates that the cylinder piston ring and cylinder barrel of the excavator are greatly worn, resulting in oil burning failure. If white smoke is emitted, it may be water vapor or cylinder gasket damage. If black smoke is emitted, it is likely that the fuel injector is damaged.
