The breather valve is installed above the hydraulic oil tank. It is mainly used to balance the air pressure inside and outside the hydraulic oil tank during the output and inflow of hydraulic oil from the oil tank. At the same time, the breather valve can also filter the dust and other impurities in the atmosphere. Ensure that the cleanliness of hydraulic oil is not polluted by external dust. When the breather valve fails, the air pressure of the hydraulic oil tank cannot maintain the normal range. If the air pressure in the oil tank is out of balance with the outside world, the following obvious phenomena will occur.
1. The hydraulic pump has insufficient oil suction or vacuum. The abnormal noise and action of the main pump are caused. This fault is caused by blockage or failure of the breather valve.
2. The temperature of hydraulic oil tank increases. The excavator has excessive pressure or cracks in the hydraulic oil tank. This is because the filter element of the breather valve is blocked, resulting in poor ventilation and high temperature.
3. The hydraulic oil is too dirty. The outer wall of the oil tank around the breather valve often absorbs dust. This indicates that the filter element of the breather valve has too much dust and impurities or is damaged, which makes the breather valve lose its filtering function.
