Hydraulic pump is the energy device of excavator hydraulic system. It converts the mechanical energy of motor into hydraulic energy and outputs flow and pressure. It plays a very important role in the hydraulic system. If the hydraulic pump fails, the normal operation of the whole hydraulic system will be affected. This paper mainly introduces the fault causes and troubleshooting of the pressure failure of the hydraulic pump of the excavator.
1. The oil pump does not supply oil or the flow is insufficient. Troubleshooting: fill the pump with working oil.
2. The regulating pressure of overflow valve is too low or faulty. Troubleshooting: re adjust the pressure of the overflow valve or repair the overflow valve.
3. There is leakage in the system. Troubleshooting: check the system and repair the leakage point.
4. The pump cover screw is loose due to the long-time working vibration of the oil pump. Troubleshooting: tighten the screws properly.
5. The suction pipe leaks. Troubleshooting: check all connections, seal and fasten them.
6. Insufficient oil absorption. Troubleshooting: fill the pump with working oil.
7. The pressure of variable displacement pump is not adjusted properly. Troubleshooting: readjust to the required pressure.
