What should be paid attention to in the maintenance of excavator undercarriages parts

The excavator's track roller leaks oil, the carrier roller is broken, the walking is weak, and the track tightness is inconsistent, which are all related to the undercarriages parts. Undercarriages parts are directly related to the working performance and walking performance of excavator.

1.Track roller

During work, try to avoid the track roller soaking in muddy water for a long time. After the work is completed every day, prop up one side of the crawler and drive the traveling motor to get rid of the dirt, gravel and other sundries on the crawler. During construction in winter, the track roller must be kept dry, because there is a floating seal between the outer wheel and the shaft of the track roller. If there is water, ice will form at night. When moving the machine the next day, the seal will be scratched in contact with the ice, resulting in oil leakage. The damage of the supporting roller will cause many faults, such as deviation, weakness, etc.

2. Carrier roller

The carrier roller is located above the X frame and is used to maintain the linear movement of the chain rail. If the carrier roller is damaged, the track chain rail will not be able to maintain a straight line. The carrier roller is a one-time injected lubricating oil. In case of oil leakage, it can only be replaced. During work, try to avoid soaking the supporting wheel in muddy water for a long time. At ordinary times, keep the inclined platform of frame x clean, and do not let too much soil and gravel accumulate to hinder the rotation of the carrier roller.

3. Idler

The idler is located in front of the X-frame and assembled with the tension spring installed inside the X-frame. Keep the guide wheel in front during operation and walking, so as to avoid abnormal wear of the chain rail. The tension spring can also absorb the impact brought by the road surface during work and reduce wear.

4. Sprocket

The sprocket is located behind the X-frame because it is directly fixed on the X-frame and has no shock absorption function. If the sprocket travels in front, it will not only cause abnormal wear to the sprocket and chain rail, but also have an adverse impact on the X-frame, and the X-frame may have problems such as early cracking. The traveling motor guard plate can protect the motor. At the same time, some soil and gravel will enter the internal space, which will wear the oil pipe of the traveling motor. The water in the soil will corrode the joint of the oil pipe. Therefore, open the guard plate regularly to clean up the dirt inside.

5. Track assembly

The track is mainly composed of track shoes and chain rail links. The track shoes are divided into standard plates and extension plates. The standard plate is used for earthwork conditions, and the extended plate is used for wetland conditions. When walking, the gravel sometimes gets stuck in the gap between the two plates. When it turns to contact with the ground, it will squeeze the two plates, and the track shoe is prone to bending and deformation. Long-time walking will also cause cracking at the bolt fixing position of the track shoe. The chain rail link is in contact with the driving gear ring, which drives it to rotate. Too tight track tension will cause early wear of chain rail links, drive teeth and idler. Therefore, according to different construction road conditions, it is necessary to adjust the track tension.
