Most excavators are equipped with earth buckets, but if the working environment requires crushing, the excavator needs to be equipped with a breaker. When using the breaker, you should have a certain understanding of the use of the breaker. What should be paid attention to when using the breaker? This article will explain it for reference only.
1. Precautions for breaker operation
1) When using the breaker every time, first check whether the high-pressure or low-pressure oil pipe of the breaker is loose. At the same time, check whether there is oil leakage in other places at any time to avoid oil pipe falling off due to vibration and failure.
2) During the operation of the breaking hammer, the drill rod shall always be perpendicular to the surface of the broken object. And make the drill rod press the broken object tightly. After breaking, stop the work of the breaking hammer immediately to prevent empty hitting. Continuous and aimless impact will cause damage to the precursor of the breaker and loosening of the main body bolts, which can damage the main engine itself in serious cases.
3) Do not shake the drill rod when breaking, otherwise the main bolt and the drill rod may be broken. Do not make the breaker fall quickly or hit hard stones, which will damage the breaker or the main machine due to excessive impact.
4) Do not carry out crushing operation in water or muddy ground. Except the drill rod, other parts of the breaker body should not be immersed in water or mud, otherwise the piston and other parts with similar functions on it will cause premature loss of the breaker due to accumulation of mud stains.
5) When crushing particularly hard objects, start from the edge first, and do not knock continuously at the same point for more than 1min, so as to prevent the drill rod from burning or the hydraulic oil from overheating.
6) Do not use the guard plate of the breaker as a tool to push heavy objects. Since the excavators and loaders are mainly small machines, their own weight is light. If they push heavy objects, the breaker will be damaged if it is light, and the boom of the main engine will be broken if it is heavy, and even the main engine will overturn.
7) The operation shall be carried out when the hydraulic cylinder is fully extended or fully retracted, otherwise the impact vibration will be transmitted to the hydraulic cylinder block and then to the main engine.
2. Maintenance of breaker
Because the working conditions of the breaker are very bad, correct maintenance can reduce the failure of the machine and prolong the service life of the machine. In addition to timely maintenance of the host, attention should also be paid to appearance inspection, lubrication and replacement of hydraulic oil.
3. Appearance inspection
Check whether the relevant bolts are loose. Check whether the connecting pins are excessively worn. Check whether the clearance between the drill rod and its bushing is normal and whether there is oil leakage between them, indicating that the low-pressure oil seal has been damaged and should be replaced by professionals.
4. Lubrication
The lubrication points of the working device shall be lubricated before operation and 2 ~ 3H after each continuous operation.
5. Replace the hydraulic oil
The change of hydraulic oil quality varies due to different working environments. A simple way to judge whether the oil is good or bad is to observe the color of the oil. When the deterioration of the oil quality is very serious, the oil should be drained, and new oil should be injected after cleaning the oil tank and oil filter.
