Diesel engine speed control system of excavator

The system is controlled by a controller, and the throttle controller is used as the control unit. As an actuator, the throttle mechanism controls the opening of the throttle of the diesel engine. The throttle position signal is obtained by the throttle position sensor installed on the throttle mechanism. The controller collects the signal through the analog channel and sends it to the internal register of the controller for processing.

After processing and calculating according to the difference between the actual throttle position and the set throttle position, the controller outputs the corresponding number of pulse values to control the operation of the stepping motor, so as to realize the automatic control and adjustment of the speed of the diesel engine.

When the speed is increased, the controller sends a stepping pulse signal to drive the throttle mechanism to rotate forward, the throttle opening of the diesel engine increases, and the speed of the diesel engine increases. At the same time, the throttle position parameters are reduced. After reaching the set throttle position, the acceleration signal stops and enters the automatic speed adjustment stage.

During deceleration, the controller sends step pulse and step direction signal, the automatic speed regulation is disconnected, the throttle mechanism is reversed, the throttle opening is reduced, and the diesel engine speed is reduced. When the idle state is reached, the controller sends a stop signal, the throttle mechanism stops running, and the diesel engine runs at idle state.

When the diesel engine needs to run at low idle speed, the throttle speed regulating mechanism can automatically increase the speed of the diesel engine to avoid flameout due to insufficient output power of the diesel engine.

In order to prevent the diesel engine speed from exceeding the allowable maximum speed, it is necessary to limit the maximum speed of the diesel engine. In the process of diesel engine speed-up regulation, the throttle position signal of the throttle mechanism is fed back to the controller, and the controller automatically analyzes and calculates the signal to obtain the maximum allowable forward rotation steps of the stepping motor. When the speed of the diesel engine rises to the maximum speed and reaches the abnormal throttle position area, the controller will automatically stop the action of the stepping motor to ensure that the diesel engine will not exceed the allowable maximum speed.
