Difference between Friction Welding and Traditional Welding Processes

Friction welding, also known as friction stir welding, is a modern welding technology that has been introduced to the industry to meet the increasing demand for high quality, efficient, and cost-effective welding processes. Unlike traditional welding processes such as Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), Friction welding involves the use of high rotational speeds and friction force to join two pieces of metals without the application of heat.
