How to prevent thieves from draining oil from the outlet pipe

In the middle of the night, the excavator may encounter thieves stealing diesel. If some operators fail to lock the fuel tank after shutdown, it will increase the possibility of diesel theft. The oil pipe comes out from the bottom of the diesel tank and connects to the oil-water separator. As long as the joint nut of the oil-water separator is unscrewed, diesel will flow out of the oil pipe. Although the diameter of this oil pipe is small, it is estimated that it will take more than one hour to discharge 200L diesel oil. The oil-water separator is located in the side door of the excavator. If you want to lock the oil-water separator through the lock on the side door, you can prevent the diesel from being stolen. That’s a wrong idea. Because the keys of the same excavator brand are universal. Therefore, two excavators should be parked next to each other. And the fuel tank is on the inside. They must be next to each other without any extra space. It’s better to be a space where no one can get in. However, this is a test of the operator’s ability. Therefore, it is better to let the operator with rich driving experience operate.
