The working condition of fuel injectors plays a fundamental role in the power of each engine. If the fuel injectors does not work properly, the carbon deposit in the cylinder is serious. The accelerated wear of cylinder barrel and piston ring will cause unstable idle speed, increased fuel consumption, weak acceleration, difficult starting and excessive emission. In serious cases, the fuel injectors will be completely blocked and the engine will be damaged. This article will briefly describe the method of replacing the fuel injectors, which is only for reference. It is best to hand it over to professional maintenance person for replacement.
1. Disassembly steps
1) Loosen the fixing bolts and remove the steel plate and fuel injection pipe oil seal.
2) Loosen the fuel injector retainer and remove the fuel injection device.
2. Installation steps
1) Install a new O-ring in the groove of the cylinder head, coat the O-ring with engine oil, and pay attention that the O-ring is not bitten. Then insert the fuel injection device.
2) Install the injectors retainer and temporarily install the fuel injectors. Do not secure the injectors retainer.
3) Put the new fuel injection pipe oil seal on the fuel injectors, and then install the steel plate. Do not use too much force when installing the fuel injection pipe oil seal on the injectors. If the position of the oil seal and the injectors deviates, oil leakage or poor assembly of the fuel injection pipe may be caused.
4) Temporarily install the fuel injection pipe, and then tighten the fixing bolts of the injectors retainer. Tightening torque: 25N. M.
5) Write the fuel injectors correction value to the engine ECU.
