1. Oil leakage
There are three possibilities for oil leakage of loader drive axle: one is the leakage of gear oil inside wheel reducer. The reason is that the framework oil seal or O-ring is damaged. At this time, the framework oil seal and O-ring should be replaced. The second is the oil leakage at the flange surface of the combination of the main drive and the axle housing. The reason is that the bolt fixing them is loose or the asbestos paper pad is damaged. At this time, the connecting bolt should be tightened or the asbestos paper pad should be replaced. The third is the oil leakage of the drive axle housing. Generally, the reason is that there are casting defects in the drive axle housing. At this time, the drive axle housing should be repaired or replaced.
2. Abnormal noise
There are many reasons for the abnormal noise of the loader drive axle, which mainly include the following two possibilities: one is the improper adjustment of the gear meshing clearance or bearing clearance of the main transmission. At this time, the main transmission should be disassembled and the gear meshing clearance or bearing clearance should be readjusted. The second is that the differential planetary gear, planetary gear gasket, planetary gear needle bearing are seriously worn or the planetary gear and cross shaft are stuck. Check, adjust or replace planetary gear, gasket, needle roller bearing or cross shaft at this time.
3. Overheating
If the loader feels hot when touching the drive axle housing after working for a period of time, it means that the drive axle is overheated. The reason is that the fit clearance of rolling bearing is too small, the gear mesh clearance is too small or the gear oil is lack. At this time, check whether there is a lack of gear oil, if not, remove the main transmission device, check and investigate the bearing clearance or gear meshing clearance.
