The central swivel joint of the excavator is mainly used to connect the hydraulic and pneumatic pipelines of relatively fixed parts and rotating parts, and avoid the use of hoses to connect the pipelines to each other when rotating. At the same time, the upper and lower parts of the hydraulic system pipeline have a relative rotation of 360 degrees. The central rotary joint is widely used in construction machinery such as excavators.
The excavator as a whole can be divided into two parts: frame and chassis. The power assembly is in the upper part, and the walking motor is installed on the chassis. It is driven by the power assembly of the upper part, and the power is transmitted between the upper and lower frames through hydraulic pipes. The key component of the connection between the upper and lower parts is the central swivel. The central swivel is mainly used to connect the relatively fixed parts and the pipe connection between the rotating parts. The central swivel joint can avoid winding or even tearing of the pipe caused by using the hose. The central swivel can be divided into two parts, namely the housing and the internal body. The traveling motor is connected to the housing of the rotary joint, and the oil of the power assembly is connected to the internal column of the central rotary joint through the main control valve. The inner cylinder is provided with annular grooves and vertical holes from top to bottom, and the shell is also provided with corresponding openings and grooves. The annular grooves are separated from each other by rotary seals. When the excavator is working, the slewing ring of the upper half rotates, and the shell and the internal main body rotate relative. The oil from the main control valve enters the annular groove through the internal column, and the oil is supplied to the traveling motor through the vertical hole of the internal column. The annular oil groove is not limited by the number of rotations, so that the excavator can turn freely. In addition, the groove between the inner cylinder and the shell can be kept through, so as to achieve 360 degree unrestricted rotation.
