Some people have many wrong methods in the maintenance of excavators, which affects the normal use of construction machinery. This article will introduce the precautions for the use and maintenance of the EFI engine for reference only.
1. Maintain regularly according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. The manufacturer will provide maintenance suggestions, such as 500h replacement of filter element. Especially air filter element, diesel coarse and fine filter, engine oil and engine oil filter. It is recommended to use original accessories for diesel coarse and fine filters and avoid using other accessories. Because the use of non original parts is likely to lead to engine damage and cannot be guaranteed. Secondly, pay attention to the quality of diesel, the content of impurities, sulfur and water in the fuel. Acid value will cause corrosion and wear of fuel injector. Even if the fuel injector is treated with high wear-resistant coating technology, poor fuel quality will cause frequent replacement of the filter element, resulting in high maintenance costs, increased failure rate and other hidden dangers.
2. The oil-water separator shall drain water frequently and replace the air filter frequently. Two sets of air filter are recommended for replacement. Check the oil quality visually every time you add fuel. If necessary, add a primary fuel filter element by yourself. It is recommended to use a slightly larger throttle to avoid high engine load. If the engine runs at a large load, it is easy to cause incomplete combustion and produce carbon deposits. When the excavator enters the idle state due to automatic idle speed, it is recommended to lean on the handle gently when re working, and wait for the engine to run at high speed before working. This not only protects the engine, but also protects the hydraulic pump.
3. Use original parts and fluids. Pay attention to the plug direction and position of each sensor. Fill the filter element to be replaced with oil before installation.
