The engine needs to suck in a large amount of air during operation. Large particles entering between the piston and the cylinder will cause serious longitudinal mechanical scratches and scratches on the inner wall of the cylinder. This is especially serious in dry and sandy working environment. The air filter is installed in front of the carburetor or intake pipe to filter the dust and sand in the air. When the air filter element is normally undamaged, after long-time air filtration, the surface will be covered with dust, which will directly affect the air intake of the engine. If it is not cleaned in time, the engine will have no action, black smoke, power drop and other faults. If the project is busy and cannot be cleaned regularly, it is necessary to check the air filter alarm switch frequently. If an alarm is found, it needs to be cleaned up immediately. The external filter needs to be replaced with a new filter element after it has been cleaned for about 6 times. If the working condition is poor and the dust is large, the filter element replacement cycle will be shortened. The internal filter is a disposable product, which can not be cleaned and can be replaced directly.
The air filter element shall be purchased from the original factory as far as possible, and the quality shall be guaranteed. In many cases, the root cause of engine power decline, no action and black smoke is the assembly of low-quality air filter elements. Because the filter paper used for the low-quality air filter element is low-grade filter paper, which is very different from the quality of the original accessories. The low-quality filter paper is thin and soft, and the manufacturing technology of the filter element is not good. The filtration efficiency is reduced, and the ventilation is poor, which ultimately affects the decline of engine power.
