The hydraulic oil of excavator plays the role of lubrication and buffer. The oil filter needs to be replaced regularly and maintained in strict accordance with its service life. Hydraulic excavators usually need to replace the hydraulic oil within the specified time. If it is not replaced in time, the normal operation of the system will be affected. According to statistics, most of the faults of hydraulic system are caused by system pollution. This article introduces the steps of changing the hydraulic oil filter element of excavator. Since different models and brands of excavators have different requirements, this article is for reference only.
1. Preparation
1) Be familiar with the working principle, operating procedures, maintenance and use requirements of hydraulic system.
2) Prepare new hydraulic oil according to the equipment instructions.
3) Prepare tools for disassembling pipe joints, oil filters for filling new oil, filter elements of hydraulic system, etc.
4) Prepare cleaning solution, brush and silk cloth for wiping.
5) Prepare oil drums for waste oil.
6) Choose a flat and solid site. Ensure that the excavator can rotate without obstacles when the bucket and stick arm are fully extended. After the boom is fully lifted, it will not touch any obstacles, and the distance from the wire should be more than 2m.
7) Prepare 4 pieces of wood to block the track in front and back.
8) Allocate staff as needed.
2. Methods and steps for replacing hydraulic oil and filter element of excavator
1) Place the boom parallel to the track and stop after turning 45 ° to the left, so that the bucket cylinder piston rod is fully extended. Fully retract the piston rod of the stick cylinder and slowly lower the boom to place the bucket on the ground. Then shut down the engine and open the vent valve of the fuel tank. Pull each operating handle back and forth and step on the pedal several times to release the residual pressure of the system caused by self weight.
2) Thoroughly clean all pipe joints, pump and motor joints with gasoline. At and around the oil drain plug, the oil filler cap at the top of the oil tank and the oil drain plug at the bottom.
3) Open the oil drain valve and the oil drain plug at the bottom of the oil tank to make all the old oil flow into the oil bucket containing waste oil.
4) Open the filler cap of the oil tank, take out the filler element, and check whether the residual oil at the bottom of the oil tank and its corners contains metal powder or other impurities. Clean the oil tank thoroughly, first with diesel twice. Then dry the inside of the oil tank with compressed air. Check whether there are residual sludge, impurities, etc. at the inner corners until they are cleaned. Finally, rinse it with new oil.
