During the daily maintenance of the excavator, many operators do not pay attention to the diesel tank and think it is not important. In fact, the daily use of diesel tanks will affect the use of excavators. Improper maintenance will cause excavator failure. This article will introduce seven things that should be paid attention to in the daily maintenance of excavator diesel tank for reference only.
1. Diesel oil shall be precipitated for more than 48h before being added into the oil tank to avoid impurities in the oil being brought into the oil tank.
2. Excavators are often scattered in the field. Because it is inconvenient to drive back to the oil depot for refueling, the oil is delivered to the construction site in barrels. At this time, the pumping unit that refuels the excavator must be clean and pollution-free, and the precipitated oil at the bottom of the barrel shall not be pumped into the oil tank.
3. During the operation of the excavator, the amount of oil in the oil tank shall be mastered at any time. In case of lack of oil, it shall be added in time to prevent the dirty oil or air at the bottom of the tank from entering the fuel system due to the exhaustion of the stored oil, which will affect the normal operation of the diesel engine.
4. Fill the oil tank with oil after work or before stopping work every day to avoid water droplets on the inner wall of the empty oil tank due to condensation and flowing into the diesel oil at night. In addition, before starting work, open the drain valve of the oil tank to drain the dirty oil or water precipitated at the bottom of the tank.
5. When the oil tank leaks or the switch is not tightly closed, it will not only pollute the environment, easily cause fire, but also waste diesel and increase the operation cost. At this time, stop the machine for welding repair or replace the switch. Do not continue the operation reluctantly, otherwise the leakage will become more and more serious under the vibration of the machine and cause greater losses.
6. The vent hole on the fuel tank cover shall be dredged frequently. If it is blocked, it will form negative pressure in the tank, reduce the oil delivery pressure and reduce the oil supply, so that the power of the diesel engine can not be brought into full play.
7. After long-term use of the excavator, the diesel in the oil tank will generate a lot of dirt when it contacts with the air or the tank wall. One part will sink into the bottom of the tank and the other part will be attached to the tank wall. At the same time, it is inevitable that ash, dust or moisture will be brought into the oil tank during refueling every day. Therefore, the oil tank should be cleaned every 1500 ~ 2000h, otherwise even if all clean diesel is added, it will be polluted.
