In the excavator brake air circuit system, a gas control valve is installed between the air pump and the air reservoir. Its main function is to separate oil and water from compressed air. Filter the dust and impurities in the compressed air. Prevent the compressed air in the air reservoir from flowing back to the air pump. During the use of the excavator, air leakage may occur due to the damage of the pressure regulating film, the damage of the control valve shell, the damage of the filter and other faults, which will eventually cause the gas control valve to fail to work normally. 1. The pressure regulating valve leaks because the pressure regulating film is damaged
The pressure regulating film is a rubber product. The diaphragm is often damaged because it frequently bears repeated punching of air pressure, repeated arched and reset actions, and is corroded by gas and water. This is the most likely failure of the control valve. After the diaphragm is damaged, the compressed gas from the air pump enters the upper part of the pressure regulating valve through the diaphragm instead of entering the air reservoir. As a result, the air pressure of the air reservoir cannot rise. At this time, the temperature of the pressure regulating valve is easy to rise, and the air pressure gauge of the braking system shows that the air pressure is insufficient, and the sound of air leakage can be heard at the pressure regulating valve.
2. Control valve housing cracked
The valve housing is composed of upper, middle and lower parts, which are respectively connected by screws. The housing is made of aluminum. When disassembling or combining, if the method of disassembling and installing screws is improper, the shell is easy to crack. When removing and installing the screws, they should be tightened or loosened diagonally and several times, so that the stress on the housing closing surface is consistent, to prevent damage due to uneven stress.
3. Damaged filter
The filter is mainly used to filter the dust and impurities in the compressed air. Prevent such substances from entering the brake system of the excavator. The utility model is composed of a filter screen, a dust suction pad and a fixed screw plug. If it is used for a long time and the maintenance is not timely, it is easy to damage the copper wire of the filter screen and the dust suction pad. Care shall be taken during maintenance, and any damage shall be repaired or changed in time.
