The filter element of excavator is an indispensable device on the transmission medium pipeline. It is usually installed at the inlet end of pressure reducing valve, pressure relief valve, constant level valve or other equipment. It is used to eliminate impurities in the valve to protect the normal use of the valve and excavator. The filter element can effectively filter out pollutants and pollutants of oil film thickness, which is the main filtering function of excavator filter element. There are many questions about the filter element in daily use. This article will answer three common questions for reference only.
1. Under what special circumstances do you need to replace the oil filter element and fuel filter element?
The fuel filter element is used to remove iron oxide, dust and other impurities in the fuel. Prevent the fuel system from blocking, reduce mechanical wear, and ensure the stable operation of the engine. Generally, the replacement cycle of engine fuel filter element is 250 hours after the first operation. After that, it shall be replaced every 250 hours of operation, and the replacement time shall be flexibly controlled according to different fuel quality levels. When the filter element pressure gauge gives an alarm or indicates abnormal pressure, it is necessary to check whether the filter is abnormal. If yes, it must be replaced. When there is leakage or cracking deformation on the surface of the filter element, it is necessary to check whether the filter is abnormal. If yes, it must be replaced.
2. Is the higher the filtering accuracy of the engine oil filter element, the better?
For an engine or equipment, select the appropriate filter element through the two indicators of filtration efficiency and ash capacity. Using a filter element with too high filtration accuracy may shorten the service life of the filter element due to the low ash content of the filter element, thereby increasing the risk of premature plugging of the oil filter element.
3. What is the difference between the effect of inferior engine oil and fuel filter element and that of pure engine oil and fuel filter element on the equipment?
Pure engine oil and fuel filter element can effectively protect the equipment and prolong the service life of the equipment. Inferior engine oil and fuel filter elements can't protect the equipment well, can't prolong the service life of the equipment, and even worsen the service condition of the equipment.
