Traditional energy saving technology of Hydraulic Excavator Power System

The general energy saving technologies in diesel engines include combustion chamber optimization, turbocharging technology, optimizing the matching between supercharger and fuel pump, broadening the economic fuel consumption area of diesel engine and electronic fuel injection technology. In power system, domestic excavators use a lot of mechanical control of fuel injection diesel engine. Its speed will affect the circulating oil supply quantity and injection advance angle of the injection pump, which can not reach the best oil supply under various speeds. Therefore, the efficiency of diesel engine is not high under the strong and variable load. The excavator in Europe and America and Japan widely uses EFI diesel engine. Its injection state and law can be changed according to the diesel engine operating condition. Once the load changes sharply, it can be adjusted immediately, thus greatly improving the combustion efficiency.

In view of the situation of the excavator working, such as the load and speed change greatly, the engine speed and working state are unstable, the control strategy of diesel engine should be specially designed to prevent the occurrence of flying or holding up. The energy saving control strategies of diesel engine include automatic idle control, sub condition control, speed induction control, etc. the control strategy of diesel engine is generally inherited from the control strategy matching the power of engine and hydraulic pump.
