Heavy oil is the residual heavy oil after extracting gasoline and diesel from crude oil. It is characterized by large molecular weight and high viscosity. The specific gravity of heavy oil is generally 0.82-0.95, and the specific heat is about 10000-11000kcal / kg. It is mainly composed of hydrocarbons, and also contains some (about 0.1-4%) sulfur and trace inorganic compounds.
