The viscosity of fuel oil (diesel) itself is large, and the viscosity will become larger with the decrease of temperature, that is, the fluidity of fuel oil (diesel) is poor at low temperature.
The fuel contains a certain amount of paraffin. At low temperature, the paraffin is easy to crystallize, which will lead to poor fluidity of the fuel. The lower the temperature, the more obvious the paraffin crystallization, and even form a crystallization network, which will eventually lead to the loss of fuel fluidity.
At low temperature, the fluidity of the fuel is poor, and the fuel cannot pass through the oil pipe and filter smoothly, blocking the oil pipe and filter element. It will reduce or even interrupt the fuel supply, make the engine unable to work normally, make it difficult to start, or even shut down and fail to start.
