The flexible operation of the boom is an important standard for the excavator to successfully complete the project. Because the boom participates in every action of excavation, loading, unloading and repair, no fault problem is allowed. Experienced operators will pay great attention during boom maintenance and overhaul. Because skilled maintenance work will not only greatly reduce the probability of boom failure, but also save a lot of unnecessary maintenance work. This article will introduce how to analyze the cause of the fault and how to effectively solve the fault if the pin shaft makes abnormal noise during the working process of the excavator boom. 1. Fault analysis
1) Abnormal boom noise will not be a sudden fault problem. The fault causes are basically caused by improper long-term lubrication and maintenance. Therefore, the first point needs to consider whether the failure is caused by not using pure butter. A large number of facts have proved that pure butter plays a very important role in the whole state of the excavator.
2) Butter was not added on time. Some excavators are replaced by operators, so grease lubrication and other work may lag and delay.
3) Check whether the grease fitting is blocked. The excavator is in contact with dirt, silt, gravel and other impurities every day. Therefore, some impurities will inevitably adhere to the grease fittings and lubricating ports. If they are blocked, they must be cleaned in time.
4) The shaft sleeve and sealing ring are worn. If the shaft sleeve and sealing ring are worn, not only the sealing effect is not available, but also the abnormal sound of friction will be made between the excavator parts.
2. Troubleshooting process
1) Check that the boom pin shaft grease fitting is intact, the grease at the pin shaft is dry, and the boom pin shaft is not lubricated, resulting in abnormal noise caused by pin shaft friction. Then the maintenance personnel retract the bucket cylinder and stick cylinder, and put the bucket on the ground to deal with the problem.
2) Gently lift the boom with a crane and remove the pipeline and line connected to the boom platform. Remove the pin shaft connecting the boom cylinder and the boom, and pull out the boom pin shaft with a pin puller.
3) Lift the boom. Replace the shaft sleeve, sealing ring and pin shaft.
4) Assemble boom, oil pipe, line, boom cylinder and other components. Re add grease for lubrication, and the troubleshooting is completed.
