The fuel injectors of excavator is often broken, which is closely related to finding a repairman to correct the fuel injectors or using a poor quality fuel injectors.
The working condition of fuel injectors plays a fundamental role in the power of each engine. If the fuel injectors does not work properly, the carbon deposit in the cylinder is serious. The accelerated wear of cylinder barrel and piston ring will cause unstable idle speed, increased fuel consumption, weak acceleration, difficult starting and excessive emission. In serious cases, the fuel injectors will be completely blocked and the engine will be damaged.
1. Z010, Z030 alarm
During work, I often hear and consult Z010 and Z030 alarm codes. In fact, the occurrence of these two codes is related to fuel injectors failure.
Z010 is the alarm of abnormal oil discharge pressure of the injectors. The main reason is that there is water and impurities in the diesel oil, which has a certain wear on the injectors, resulting in too short pressure relief time of the injectors after shutdown, which will not affect the normal work. It is recommended to drain the diesel oil and use high-quality fuel frequently to avoid increasing the wear on the injectors. If the alarm is still given after cleaning, it may be that the oil injectors is not working properly. It is recommended to replace it.
Z030 is the continuous alarm of fuel injector, and the injector needs to be replaced.
2. Causes of wear
1) Pure parts (oil-water separator and diesel filter element) are not used, resulting in wear of the injectors.
2) Poor quality diesel oil causes blockage and wear of the oil injectors.
3) Improper installation of fuel injector results in air leakage, resulting in excessive local temperature and jamming of fuel injector.
3. Effect of fault
If the fuel is poor, the fuel injectors will not work properly and the carbon deposit in the cylinder will be serious. The wear of accelerating cylinder barrel and piston ring will cause unstable idle speed, increased fuel consumption, weak acceleration, difficult start and excessive emission. In serious cases, the fuel injectors will be blocked and the engine will be damaged.
