How to deal with the hydraulic oil that seeps into the water tank of the excavator

Under normal circumstances, the excavator water tank, hydraulic oil tank and diesel tank are not interconnected. And provide conditions for normal construction of excavators. This is also the basic requirement for the normal operation of the machine. However, if hydraulic oil leakage is found in the water tank, it is a very serious problem. This article will explain how to determine the causes of such failures and solutions, for reference only.

From the description of the fault phenomenon and the structure of the excavator, there must be no hydraulic components at the bottom of the water tank, so if there is oil leakage at this location, it must be caused by other parts. For example, the back pressure valve and oil inlet and outlet pipes assembled on the upper part of the excavator base plate. Focus on oil leakage at these two parts.

1. Start to observe and operate the machine externally, and find that there is indeed oil leakage at the bottom of the water tank of the machine.

2. According to empirical analysis, it may be caused by oil leakage at the hydraulic valve at the bottom of the water tank and the oil inlet of the oil pump inlet pipe connected to the multi way valve.

3. Wipe up all the leaked oil at the water tank and start the excavator. Observe where the oil leaks from. The three-way joint of oil pump is found to have oil leakage. Tighten the connector.

4. Remove the oil pipe and block the oil port with toilet paper. After removing the oil port connector, it is found that the oil port sealing ring is damaged. After replacing the seal ring, start the excavator and the oil leakage disappears.
