Precautions for replacement of excavator fuse

As long as the electrical performance of products is involved, there will be fuses. Although the fuse may not attract everyone’s attention in the circuit, it plays a very important role. When the circuit fails or is abnormal, the current increases continuously. Moreover, the increased current may damage some important or valuable components in the circuit, and may also burn the circuit or even cause a fire. If the fuse is correctly placed in the circuit, the fuse will fuse itself to cut off the current when the current abnormally rises to a certain height and a certain time, thus protecting the safe operation of the circuit. This article will describe the precautions for fuse replacement. For reference only.

1. The ampere value should be correct

When replacing a fuse, be sure to select a fuse with the correct amperage. Do not increase the current specification of the fuse at will, let alone replace it with iron wire. This is for the protection of electrical appliances. The electrical apparatus can work stably under the current of 1A, while it may not work normally when the current is greater than 1A. Therefore, to replace the fuse, it is necessary to select the fuse with correct ampere ratio.

2. Purchase channels should be regular

There are many fuses in the market, but it is recommended to buy them in a regular repair shop. Because unqualified fuse links are likely to be made of other metals. The protection of the circuit cannot be guaranteed. Moreover, the inferior plastic shell is easy to burn and cause fire when the fuse is overloaded and damaged.

3. Spare fuses are necessary

Usually there is a spare fuse for each model in the fuse box. If it is confirmed that the fuse is damaged, it can be directly replaced with a spare fuse. At the same time, don’t forget to supplement the spare fuse in time. In case of no spare fuse, the fuse on other equipment that has no impact on driving and safety can be replaced in case of emergency. If a fuse with the same current load cannot be found, it can be replaced by a fuse with a lower current rating than the original fuse.
