Safety points for standardized operation of excavators

Each excavator needs standard operation, so as to ensure the safety in the construction process. This article will summarize the key points of standard operation of some excavators for reference only.

1. During the rotary braking of the excavator, the rotary brake shall be used, and the reverse braking of the steering clutch shall not be used. When fully loaded, it is forbidden to turn sharply and brake violently, and the bucket shall not rise and fall too violently during operation. When falling, do not impact the frame, crawler and other parts, and do not loosen the lifting wire rope.

2. During the operation, the earth must be excavated after the fuselage stops stably. Before the bucket leaves the working face, it is not allowed to turn back and walk. When the body rotates or the bucket is cut, it is not allowed to lift and lower the boom.

3. During dragline operation, do not continue to dig after the bucket is fully loaded, and do not overload.

4. When the excavator operator leaves the operating position, regardless of the time, he must land the bucket and turn off the engine.

5. Do not use the bucket to lift materials. In case of abnormal operation, stop the machine immediately and continue the operation after troubleshooting.

6. When the excavator is used to demolish the structure, the operator shall analyze the direction of the structure and leave a space for the collapse of the structure between the excavator cab and the demolished structure.

7. After the operation, drive the excavator to a safe area, lower the bucket, brake the slewing mechanism, and put the control lever in the neutral position.

8. After the operation, the excavator shall be wiped clean. When the operation is in winter, the body and water tank must be drained, except for antifreeze. Close the doors and windows and lock them before leaving.
