1. Insufficient preparation for starting the engine in winter
It is wrong to start the excavator engine directly in a low temperature environment without sufficient inspection. Check whether the safety lock lever is locked first. After the engine is finally started, if the indicator light of the oil pressure monitor is on, the walking pedal and the control lever cannot be operated.
2. Start with open flame
In winter, some people will take down the air filter, dip the cotton yarn in diesel oil, ignite it, and put it into the intake pipe to facilitate combustion. This operation will cause irreversible damage to the excavator. Because of this, impurities in the air will enter the cylinder, causing wear of piston and other parts and damaging the machine.
3. Start the machine in a hurry without preheating
In order to be faster and simpler, some people start the engine in a hurry without preheating. This operation may cause damage to the machine. Press the preheating switch first, and start the engine after 10 seconds of preheating. After the engine runs smoothly, check whether all instruments and indicators are normal.
