The summer is hot and hot, and the temperature is high. During the operation of the excavator, various faults are often caused by high temperature. If the excavator driver can pay attention to the following points during the working process of the excavator, the occurrence of excavator faults can be effectively reduced. 1. Prevent the water temperature of the water tank from being too high
In summer, the cooling water of the excavator evaporates and consumes quickly. Sufficient cooling water must be added before work, and the water level must be checked frequently during work. For single cylinder diesel engine without water temperature gauge, always pay attention to the red mark height of water tank float. If the float cannot be used normally, it should be repaired in time. Do not directly add cooling water in case of engine high temperature fault during operation. The work shall be finished to slow down the generator, and the cooling water shall be added slowly after the water temperature drops, so as to avoid cracks in the water tank.
2. Ensure the best oil supply time
In summer, the oil supply time of the excavator shall be adjusted. If the oil supply is too early, the engine will knock the cylinder, and sometimes it will reverse. The fuel supply time should not be too late, otherwise the engine will not work.
3. Choose lubricating oil with high viscosity
The high viscosity of lubricating oil can improve the performance of lubricating oil and increase the sealing performance. When replacing the lubricating oil of the excavator, thoroughly clean the oil filter, filter collector and oil pan. For diesel engines equipped with change-over switch, turn it to the "summer" position in summer, so that the oil enters the main oil passage after heat dissipation, so as to prevent the viscosity of lubricating oil from decreasing.
4. Accurate application of battery
In summer, part of the electrolyte in the excavator battery shall be sucked out and an appropriate amount of distilled water shall be added. The specific gravity of the electrolyte was controlled at about 1.25. Check the liquid level every 5-10 days, and add distilled water if it is insufficient. The battery shall always maintain sufficient power. When the excavator does not work for a long time, the battery shall be removed and placed in a ventilated and dry room. Charge every 15-20 days. Also, keep the outside of the battery clean.
