1. Add antifreeze
In order to prevent the engine from freezing and cracking, pure antifreeze must be used. Antifreeze plays a vital role in the performance and service life of the engine. It can make the engine give full play to its best performance in harsh environments. Its main functions are as follows. First, protect the engine cooling system from rust and corrosion. Second, prevent scaling and reduce the heat dissipation effect of the radiator. Third, ensure that the engine works efficiently within the normal temperature range.
2. Selection of oil
1) Engine oil
For machines operating in high altitude and cold regions, the engine oil with higher grade should be replaced in winter. Such as 10W-30 and 5W-40 engine oils or higher engine oils. For machines operating in warm areas in winter such as the south, it is necessary to change the engine oil according to the actual local temperature.
2) Lubricating grease
When the temperature is high, the lubricating grease with small evaporation loss and thick thickness shall be selected. When the temperature is low in winter, the oil with low viscosity and thinner thickness should be selected.
3) Diesel
The fuel oil of excavator in winter construction can be selected according to the temperature, and improper use can cause serious consequences. Low temperature makes the fluidity of diesel worse, the viscosity increases, it is not easy to spray, resulting in poor atomization and worse combustion, resulting in the decline of power and economic performance of diesel engine. When the local temperature is lower than 4 ℃, select the brand of fuel oil suitable for the local environment.
