Because the slewing ring of excavator generally operates under heavy load and the working environment is relatively harsh, the slewing ring is prone to failure. The most common fault condition is various abnormal noises. First, it is necessary to confirm whether the abnormal sound is normal. It is normal to have a slight abnormal noise after installation. 1. The mounting surface is uneven or the mounting bolts are loose
In case of abnormal noise, it is necessary to confirm whether it is an installation problem. When the mounting surface is not flat, the raceway will form a negative gap, which will produce abnormal noise. In addition, abnormal noise may also occur when the pinion is poorly engaged. At the same time, it will cause broken teeth. In addition, when the mounting bolts are loose, the slewing ring will deform elastically. When negative clearance occurs at the deformation position, it is necessary to immediately check and tighten the bolts as required.
2. The slewing ring has foreign matters
When there are sand, iron chips and other foreign matters inside the slewing bearing, non periodic vibration will occur. At the same time, there will be a problem of inflexible rotation. In this case, it is necessary to clean the bearing, shaft, seat hole and matching parts before installation. The foreign matters in the lubricant shall be removed in time. Avoid using plastic cages with impure materials or embedded foreign matters, so as to eliminate the corresponding abnormal noise.
